  4. SHOOTING A LOT OF BIRDS WITH ONE STONE ♥

The estimate for the fossil fuels (gasoline, diesel, aviation gas, LPG, etc) to last on the face of the earth is about 54 more years.  In other words, by  the year 2065 there  will be no more cars feeding on these fuel that would be seen running along the roads!  There will be no stationary engines running, no electricity, no movies, no entertainment.  The world economy will collapse… job will be scarce…there will be crime everywhere…even at home!  Everybody will do anything just to survive.

Is there anything positive man can do to alleviate this inevitable world issue?  That is a trillion-dollar question which world leaders are beginning to be concerned about.  The next issue dwells on the readiness of mankind to maintain an orderly society once the economic onslaught looms upon us!

Of course, the comforting thought of the optimists will always inspire the hopeless and the scared.  They will insist that once upon a time there was not any of these modern fuels available to humans.  That it was not chaotic in the days of the horse-driven chariots and calesas.  That people learned to love and care for each other without these futuristic amenities of life!  Nevertheless, once man tasted the sweetness of modern day living…losing it would more or less turn him into a beast… a dangerous beast ready to devour and destroy anyone or anything along its course.

We know that civilization becomes more technically knowledgeable as time passes by.  A lot of technical development are so fast to conceptualize and put into commercial application… to the benefit of the entire world population. But almost all new contrivance is dependent on fuel and has nothing to do with replacing oils and gas that we use to run our factories and cities.

There were many attempts though, to create a system where petroleum oils has but a very little use and significance.  Seems that this effort by a few had gone down the drain.  Many governments even shunned great ideas to prepare for a catastrophic future.  There are many reasons why they manifested this reaction to be proactive.  One thing is the anachronism of replacing oils when it is still abundant.  People seem to shrug off shoulder to warnings by concerned brainiac when what is predicted is beyond the immediate future.

Anyway, let’s get to what is possible technically.

Can we replace fossil fuels?   The answer is once and for all YES!  Is it easy…YES and NO!  YES because the technological process is given.  NO because change will practically change everything…very costly…and very dangerous.  It’s dangerous not because the physical scientific process would result to death of the users.  It will be dangerous because people attitude would perhaps change.  Behavior will change because global shift to new engine propulsion system will change lifestyle and life itself.  Rich people may lose their wealth and resort to big crimes.  The number of insolvent people would then increase.  As expected, governments would be incapable to arrest ensuing national and international problems.

One of the promising technology that with a little perfection effort would lead the world into a new era of civilization.  This is the technology of WATER.  There is no problem on the supply of water… therefore, if water is converted to fuel to drive our engines and our economy… then an even brighter future is there waiting for mankind to rest and relax.

We are not talking about water per se as a fuel like what the steam engine is using.  Steam needs petroleum too or any indigenous material to burn to produce heat for water-to-steam conversion.  The process rather, involves electrolysis where water molecules are split into its basic atomic components à HYDROGEN and OXYGEN.  This is done through acidification of water, say with acetic acid or any weak acid.  Then, electrode where either dc or ac is flowing is dipped into the acidified water.  In  the positive electrode, OXYGEN is produced and HYDROGEN on the negative electrode.   These two gases can be separately collected into small tanks.  The  oxygen and hydrogen will then be pumped into a combustion chamber where a spark will ignite the mixture and VOILA!!!…POWER is produced…and that is much stronger than petroleum-based fuel burning!

One advantage of Hydrogen-Oxygen fuel (HOF) is its being a “green” thing also.   When we burn HOF, no pollution is produced…instead, clean distilled water forms as the product of combustion.

I do hope that this little information  would inspire someone out there to veer his mind off the normal thinking process against thinking outside the box.  I hope he would consider venturing not into the unknown.  This simple process is known but not noticed, lest applied to usable degree.

YOU who got the chance to read my blog…please wake up and wake up others… for the sake of our children’s future.  Their future is our future…let history tells them…we cared for them… that somehow, we underwent some sacrifices to let them live in comfort… for they deserve to be so!!!
